23 year old with a luxury budget, traveling for leisure
I wanted to do something special for my boyfriend's birthday, so I decided to take him to The Point. It started off bad from the beginning. When we got there, they couldn't give us a key due to their key machine being broken. So we walk to our hotel room which smelled like smoke and wasn't very clean, not to mention had someones small milk carton in the fridge. We are then told an attendant would soon follow to let us in the room. So we wait for maybe 5 minutes and then get in our room. We are told someone will soon bring up a key so we can leave to go to the pool and whatnot. We end up waiting 30 minutes, so I call and they said that keys have already been delivered (which they hadn't). I called about 4 more times in the course of 2 hours and the last time I just said I wanted a refund. Then I had to go to the front office again and the lady at the desk didn't once apologize. I never once got an apology from anyone at the hotel. It was absolutely horrible and it ruined my boyfriend's birthday.
I am not likely
to return to the Pointe Hilton Squaw Peak Resort.
I would not recommend it to friends.
