This hotel is a condo hotel, so you are technically subletting from the owners via a business model that describes it as a hotel. That said, and considering we didn't find this out until we arrived, we had a nice time. The emphasis is the rooms, the hotel is not much, since it is really just a condo. There is a lovely, wide beach. It feels like trekking across a desert!
There is also a nice pool, hot tub, and a double tennis court we utilized a lot, plus lovely tropical landscaping.
The room was the real highlight for this price. Large, with two balconies, a Jacuzzi, large living room, large bedroom, full kitchen, and dinette. An additional bedroom was locked, with the key costing $25.00 a night. We made do with the pullout in the living room to sleep four. Beautiful views, nicely decorated and clean room, and a good selection of Cable channels.
The only downside was no restaurant, and Estero Avenue is busy, especially in January, so we had to take our Grand Prix GT rental for a few spins to eat. However, everything is close- Restaurants, beaches, Edison's and Ford's estates- even Sanibel and Captiva! A great deal and would definitely stay again. The parents even talked about BUYING a condo at Pointe Estero, they were so impressed!

I loved this condo hotel! It was big and beautiful. There was a large wrap around balcony. The location was at the less crowded end of the island. It had a large beach area and a nice pool. The only complaint was the check out at ten o'clock in the morning. That was way too early!
I could sit on the balcony and listen to and watch the waves of the ocean. I watched the sun set over the water. Also, I used the in room large jacuzzi.
I am very likely
to return to the Pointe Estero Beach Resort.
I would definitely recommend it to friends.
Incredible, beautiful beach and views.
