The room was beautiful and cozy. The bathroom was so clean and huge. Everything was so beautiful. The bed was big. They changed out the down pillows to regular fluffy pillows with a smile! The location was easy to get to. Transportation to other places was available. The shops are great. There was a place to make your own candles. All the restaurants had exceptional food. I would go back in a heartbeat.
I had a fluffy robe and slippers, as well as a stocked refrigerator. They had beautiful pictures on the wall and the floors were made of polished stone.
I am somewhat likely
to return to the Plumpjack Squaw Valley Inn.
I would definitely recommend it to friends.
Location, location, location. And, a great staff to make one feel at home in a hotel setting. Plus, good food and nicely appointed rooms. The bar is cozy and the beds are great. A very nice place for native Californians.
1st of all, location is awesome... food is awesome, dinner at plump jack was just great... room was very nice, roomy and clean... but there is no air conditioning and the fans just blow hot air around the room. I would never recommend someone to...

Stayed at the Plumpjack Inn as part of a business conference a few years ago. While I normally go for the major hotel chains, I really enjoyed the Plumpjack Squaw Valley Inn. It is located right next to the main Squaw Valley "downtown" resort area, but with a great restaurant and excellent wine choices at the bar, I only ate once outside the hotel in three days there. Room was very comfortable with excellent bedding. Did not take advantage of the tv and stero setup, but that was also a nuce touch.
Fantastic location; great staff
