We stayed at the Plaza Ocean Club from July 5th-11th, and we enjoyed it. The hotel overall was nice. Our view was excellent and the staff were friendly. The drinks are a little expensive in the bar though, and the elevators are a little slow. I was worried about that when I read the reviews, but it wasn't that bad. I would stay again!

This hotel definitly did not meet our expectations. We had to wait forever for the elevators and in general it did not seem clean.
We were a bit confused because The Plaza Ocean club resort and spa is right next door and the two are affiliated but the website only showed pictures of the Resort. After the first night we upgraded to an ocean view suite in the Resort and it was MUCH better. The resort is clean and more sophisticated.

The room had a nice ocean view. The room was clean, the front desk was friendly. We liked the hotel location, walking distance to the boarwalk, movie theaters, water park, pier. We would recommend to family and friends.

This hotel was what I expected . I travel with 2 dogs and they were accepted without hesitation. Having said that please remember that like most pet friendly hotels that they make concessions for being just that ..... pet friendly.
If you are expected 4or 5 star you will be disappointed because it is not that, however it is a 2 star property that does have a bar and restaurant on site and the staff is very friendly .
