This hotel was horrible. In a word, Dirty. In two words, Dirty and broken. The elevators is broken, the stairs have sharp exposed edges. The plaza inn in Albaquerque is digusting. If you want to ruin your trip stay here. The staff is exceedingly rude.

I had lived in Albuquerque for almost six years before visiting there recently, I booked this hotel on priceline and my experience has been horrible with this hotel. The nightmare started when we reached this hotel, all the doors were locked and we had to call the front desk in order to enter the hotel. The room had broken furniture and torn sofa. When we asked hotel manager to change the room, he replied that hotel was fully booked, although we did not see many vehicles in the parking lot. The room was very small contrary to what we see on their website. If you want to spoil your trip stay here. I will not recommend this hotel at any price.

This place is an old property in an awkward, unattractive location right off the interstate, and it’s very noisy. When you look at the positive reviews on other sites take the time to see how similar they all are. I suspect they flood the internet with their own positive reviews. I can't imagine anyone thinking this place is acceptable. I don't write many reviews, but people need to be warned about this over-rated dump!

When I stayed, the internet was down the whole time, it was a huge hassle for me. I was there for three days and the whole time there was a decomposing piece of shrimp in the elevator closest to the pool that smelled worse and worse every day (I wasn't going to touch it!) The other elevator shook like the space shuttle but it did manage to stop within 6 inches of the floor (often a different floor than I selected). My room was tiny and filthy with old food stains on the wall and what looked like blood. The maid never did clean my room one day, despite notifying the front desk. Someone needs to re-review this property, it is rated everywhere as a 3 star, I'd have been better off at Motel 6! Avoid at all costs!
