I used to stay here all the time when it was a Drury Inn, but to be honest, the Plaza staff has improved the place. It's cleaner and all around better kept than it was before, and the staff is very friendly.

I would recommend any Drury Inn hotel anywhere for comfort and service. The locations are sometimes in questionable or relatively bad areas and it is a personal choice for the traveler according to why they are there and the venues or sites they want to be close to.

The Drury hotel in Corpus was really nice for the money. We enjoyed our stay very much. The rooms were very clean and the staff were helpful and friendly. The location was a little bit away from downtown, but for the price it was well worth it....

I have to say this was a pretty nice hotel. The beds were luciously comfortable and they have breakfast every morning that was very good. They also have evening snacks (but I never had a chance to try it because I was never around when it started)...
40 year old male with a luxury budget, traveling for leisure
Room were very clean, good showers, very attentive clerks and personnel.
The hot breakfast beats many others at higher price range, the courtecy reception with warm snacks at 7PM, including adult drinks and soft drinks for our children ( we tasted 3 servings of white Zinfendel ).
Overall I received a great value (as compared to other hotels of equal price) for my money the weeekend we stayed there, while visiting Padre Island beaches.
Pool was clean, but Saturday eve was a little more croweded that I would have liked. Outstanding value overall.

We come to Corpus several times a year, this is the best hotel we have found so far. Staff was great/fun. Room was great. Breakfast was excellent. Liked the gate to the parking area.

Mediocre
This hotel was nice but noisy and played loud music from the pool between 8AM until 10:30PM, we were 7 floors up and still had to call to tell them to turn it down in order to sleep.
