We stayed at this hotel with our club complimentary plan, so it was free. There is not much to complain about when you are not paying!

The pool should have been open. It was hot and the pool was closed for maintenance.

It seemed rundown, the front desk service was ok, but not overly friendly. It could use some renovation. The dealers and the casino employees were not friendly, nor was the wait staff. I would not stay here again, regardless of the price.

Affordable but.... As far as nightly rated in Vegas are concerned, this was great. The location is great if your only interest is the Fremont Experience in downown Las Vegas! Otherwise, it was terrible! The beds were rock hard and horribly uncomfortable. There is no cable TV in the rooms so all you get is grainy local channels. The check in is inconveniently located on the 3rd floor. My fire alram went off in the middle of the night and was triggered by steam from a hot shower. No one even came to check on the alarm despite the fact it was going off for about 10 minutes before I figured out that the alarm was in my room only. The room smelled horribly must as did all the linens and towels. The wallpaper in the bathroom was peeling up and there was mold growing on the fixtures. There are only 2 entrances on the North side of the hotel/casino when all parking is located on the South side. The staff was not very helpful and approached you with obvious indifference. There is no wi-fi internet access and there are only 2 internet kiosks located at the coffee shop. This list of complaints goes on and on! I can't remember the last time I had a worse stay at a hotel, and for my first time in Vegas, I was sorely disappointed. I did love the convenience of the Fremont Experience. That was wonderful and fun! However, it was a chore getting to the Strip and as I found out, one long walk. Needless to say, in my opinion, if you want amenities, a nicer atmosphere and overall more cleanliness don't stay at this hotel. If you're looking for cheap weekend rates and just a place to sleep for a few hours this is the place for you!

hotel is old but clean not too crowded. hotel is old but clean for the price you really arent in your room in vegas so its just to sleep its on the freemont street so its not crowded like the strip...felt safe and staff was friendly asked for upgrade and we got it... furniture is old in the rooms but its ok

This hotel is off the Las Vegas Strip, so I do not have to deal with much traffic. The price cannot be beat! I get a suit for less than other hotels standard rooms.

This is a very nice hotel in downtown, which I prefer. The help are all very nice and they go out of their way to help. The rooms are clean and the beds are comfortable. They have a marvelous restaurant with great food and a great view. For me, it is the best.

This hotel made me feel secure: I saw security officers in many places. The rooms have deadbolts. Of course, it is well lit.

I always stay at this hotel. I just like this one when I stay downtown.

We've been here several times and it's always been nice. The only thing that I miss there is that there is no in-room coffee or tea setup. The direct entrance from the third floor of the parking garage is very handy for me because I'm handicapped and cannot walk far.

The entire hotel smelled of smoke. Our slippers stuck to the carpet in the dressing area, which was very small. There was mold in the bathroom and the vent in the bathroom didn't work. There was a hairdryer and iron in the room, but neither worked. The floor lamp kept flickering on and off. We had to search three different floors because the ice machines were empty. The remote for the TV didn't work, nor did the alarm. The ladies public bathroom on the third floor (registration area) was so disgusting, it defied description. The food was awful. The only good thing I can say about this hotel is that the staff was friendly and tried to be helpful. I would never return to this hotel

Good downtown location and the price is reasonable, especially on weekdays. The rooms are nice size and clean. If you are just looking for a place to sleep, at a reasonable price, then this is the place for you. Nothing luxurious and the rooms look very dated. Service is just o.k., especially the registration area. My wife and I have stayed here three times but have recently switched to another hotel which is also downtown and, for a few extra dollars, is much nicer.

The Plaza Hotel in Las Vegas is just our favorite. It is downtown Las Vegas, the price is excellent, the food is good and the personnel is pleasant. It is primarily geared to senior customers. We thoroughly enjoy our stays at the Plaza hotel.
