1. The lighting was awful, even by European hotel standards. The bedroom lamps were nothing more than glorified night lights. You couldn't possibly read by them. The bathroom had only two tiny lights in the left side of the ceiling and there was no mirror light, such that the left side of your face for purposes of shaving or applying makeup was like the dark side of the moon.

2. There was a sharp screw that came out of the floor at an angle just outside the bathroom. We kept covering it with tape; the maid kept uncovering it.

3. It was noisy. You could hear everyone in the hallway and some people whose rooms were at angles to you in the courtyard.

4. The shower handle broke off the first day.

5. Internet access comprises 3 machines which are extremely expensive and inevitably being used by kids to play video games.

This MAY be the standard for 3-star hotels in Salou but why risk it? Go elsewhere.
