It was mine & my husband's first anniversary, and we wan't to stay somewhere nice, and romantic. We got there early Sat. and that night wanted to take a shower. The shower & tub had no running water. We reported it that night. Someone came to look, and we were told they couldn't do anything that night, but would take care it first thing in the morning. In the morning no one came, we called again, still nothing. We went down to the front desk on our way out sightseeing. (By the way I had to take a bath in the sink that morning) We were told that it would be taken care of while we were gone. We came back, still no water. Finally, they got a manager for us. We were again told it would be taken care. They did finally move us to another room late Sun afternoon, and after 24 hours we were able to take a bath. They left a note & a bottle a champaigne in the new room (which was a vast improvement), but when we checked out they charged us full price for both nights. After going around with the lady at the front desk, they finally knocked off a portion of the first night's fee. Maybe I'm wrong, but in my opinion, you should get what you pay for. I was not only upset about not being able to take a bath, but in the way the whole sitution was handled. The matter took far too long to resolve, and we should have been given the discount WITHOUT having to ask. As far as my husband & I are concerned, this does not qualify as a four star hotel.

They have the best hotel service in the United States, without a doubt.
