Wow, had I known my experience was going to be this bad, I would have happily spent more to stay elsewhere.
My wife and I were hounded by the new Planet Hollywood timeshares. They are camped right outside the elevator which serviced our room. So we could not get to our room or from our room without passing these people. The word "No" isn't sufficient for them and they would follow us a few feet to continue their pitch. Complaining to Aladdin management worked well. (And by "worked well", I mean was completely useless)
They told me that the "Planet Hollywood" timeshares were not affiliated with "Planet Hollywood" and that I would need to go to the Westgate kiosk to speak to their management. Uhh, what? Not affiliated? They're wearing Planet Hollywood shirts! Oh, and their kiosk is cleverly labeled "Guest Services".
In the middle of complaining to the Westgate kiosk, the girl actually asked me if I've seen their presentation yet. I left with no resolution, and some extra $65 charge on my credit card. Thank goodness for credit card disputes, and the abundance of other hotels in Las Vegas.
