Rooms were ok. Hotel is in process of renovating and we did not get a new room. They stated that it would cost $40 more for an updated room. No coffemakers in room, which was a negative for me. Beds were very comfortable, though. We booked as a group, and one member of the group did not get the room they booked (queen beds booked and only had a king). They stated that when we booked it, it was a request and they cannot guaranteed a King or Two Queens, it was based on availabilty. Didn't agree with that since rooms were booked well in advanced (this was a hotel issue and not a Groople issue). Overall, the hotel was very nice and in a good location.

I am somewhat likely to return to the Planet Hollywood Resort and Casino.
I would definitely recommend it to friends.

If you do stay here, make sure to get a remodeled room. the old ones are dirty and out dated. Bed was very uncomfortable. The first night we had no hot water, although the next day the were very nice about giving us a new room, it took half the morning to get it done. There are plenty of nicer places to stay.

My Mother told me if I didn't have anything nice to say I should say nothing at all. I have nothing to say about Planet Hollywood except if you want an over abundance of hookers.......it's for you if you don't mind being over charged then nickle and dimed for "amentities" that would normally be included in a $50 Days Inn room.

Be sure to see Cirque du Soliel "O" at the Bellagio. If you have to be on the strip think Bellagio, Paris, NY NY, Ceasars, Venitian, Mandalay or any other true QUALITY venues that aren't much more than Planet Hollywood but are a MUCH better VALUE. Be HAPPY with your stay.

P.S. I can't help but think these 5 star rave reviews were left by shills. The's just no way Planet Hollywood rates this high. I saw the same things others had problems with but none of the "great place!!!" stuff others say they saw.

...........................AVOID PH LIKE THE PLAGUE !!!

I just got back from a business trip to Las Vegas and had a great time other than my disappointing, costly, nickled and dimed stay at the "newly renovated" (They must have missed my room) Planet Hollywood in Las Vegas. I pre booked a deluxe room then called several days ahead and upgraded to a "resort" room for and extra $80 a night. I won't go into the check in fiasco but I arrived at about 10:30 (which I told them when booking) and finally got into my room about 3:30 despite 11 being checkout time and 3:00 check IN time. In FIVE HOURS they couldn't get anybody to do that room. Despite what they charge they WILL NOT go out of their way for you.

Ok. Planet whoreywood. Whoreywood because everything is overpriced and extra. They leave 2 bottles of water in your room. They don't tell you that for over $200.00 a night the it's just there for looks. If you drink it $5 per bottle shows up on your bill. The room was supposed to be remodeled but was VERY unimpressive, stark, ill appointed and not quite like what I had envisioned after seeing pictures of the Resort rooms online.

We stayed for 4 nights. They didn't change our sheets, they made the bed. There is no refrigerator, coffee maker or even a CLOSET that you get at any decent bargain hotel where you get all of the above plus a free breakfast at most for $50-$75 a night. There was ONE folding suitcase rack. If you had 2 suitcases you had to use the end table or the vanity in the bathroom. The wall paper reminded me of a circus tent with butterscotch and tan vertical strips about a foot wide. Like all casinos the $$$$ goes into the glitz everyone sees when they are down in the casino losing money. I didn't gamble much but I've been in Vegas before and witnessed or been a part of exciting gaming. Even if you lost you had fun. Planet Whoreywood was dead. Plenty of gamblers just no winning. The dealers were incompetent and didn't keep things alive, on pace or even upbeat. While you are gambling, if you gamble at a rate they deem profitable, drinks are free. Try to get one if you aren't at a bar playing video poker. The waitresses might as well not have existed. I guess with the overpriced rooms, nickle and diming their customers and not having very good payouts, they couldn't afford to have more waitresses that live mostly off of tips.

I asked for an adjustment to my room and they said they "couldn't". I mentioned the litany of problems and they said they could take the $12.95 a day internet access fee off. I used the internet twice but left my laptop hooked up so they naturally charged me for the time it was hooked up and not actual use.

I HATED PLANET HOLLYWOOD. The clientele that Planet Hollywood draws was another disappointment. I can't explain exactly why but the PH crown was more obnoxious yet was having less fun that the crowds at several other casinos and hotels we visited while going to a show or out to eat.

Stay anywhere but PH and while you are there DO NOT MISS CIRQUE DU SOLEIL "O" at the Bellagio!!! It was fabulously surreal and absolutely mesmerizing!! I would actually consider flying cross county back to Vegas JUST to take my family to "O"!! It was INCREDIBLE!!! Planet Hollywood. It was incredible in an entirely different way. :^(

No wonder celebrities don't actually stay there.

Going into this hotel I was a little nervous because I read some very negative reviews. However, when we arrived everything was organized and well maintained. We arrived too early to check in, so they checked out bags and we went for lunch, our room was ready an hour or so later. We upgraded to a view of the Bellagio Fountains for an extra $30 per night. The view was amazing and so was the food. Everyone was very polite and friendly. The casino has something for everyone.

The location is wonderful as well. The only complaint that I had was that there was a lot of construction on the strip so every picture I took was ruined by the ugly cranes and supplies.

Overall I would definately recommend this hotel to anyone! It is great and reasonably priced.

We had 2 rooms at Planet Hollywood January 1st and 2nd. Both rooms were clean and spacious (very nice bathrooms). The casino floor was not great though. The slot machines at the casino had ashes and cig. butts all over them and dirty drink cups were stacked all around the machines both days. Not sure where the drink cups came from though because the waitresses were no where to be found. If I did find a waitress, she usually said it wasn't her area. We found a manager after 4 hours with no service and he said he would take care of it, but an hour later still no service. We ended up having to play at another casino just to have a clean place with nice waitresses. We had one person in our party that placed such large bets he was comped 2 rooms and lots of food comps at MGM for the rest of our trip. Funny with bets like that we couldn't even get a drink at Planet Hollywood. Worked out nice for us though because their slot machines paid better that Planet Hollywood also, the slots in PH just took money and didn't give any back. The rooms were not as nice at MGM but we had a lot more fun as their casino was better.

We went just before Christmas. We had one of the newly remodeled rooms which was very nice and clean. Large flat screen tv, separate deep bathtub, shower and toilet. The mall attached to the hotel is very nice. We had no complaints. I have stayed at the Luxor, TI, Ballys and Mirage. I think planet hollywood was the nicest and plan on staying there again. I have seen some negative comments about dirty rooms. Our room was immaculate, no complaints.

Just came back from the Planet. Bathroom was disgusting (who would embed a carpet in the middle of the bathroom floor as a design element)? Can you imagine how many people stepped on that? Shower stall had chipped tiles and had NOT been cleaned. There was hair everywhere. Staying at the Planet for Christmas was like getting lump of coal in my stocking. Enjoyed the surroundings and would probably stay next at the MGM or something else. Even the Marriott Grande Chateau is starting to look good. The club chairs are covered in cheesy velvet-like fabric that bit at my legs. Can you tell I didn't like it? We did a little gaming but all we did was lose. All in all, don't go.

The common facilities are nice, but the rooms definitely leave something to be desired. We got a strip suite, which was dirty (looked like it hadn't been vacuumed in ages) and the bed was so uncomfortable. Not worth the price and won't be staying there again.

It was a great location, with a perfect view, very comfortable. The bathroom was very nice. I got a nice upgrade for a good price. It was much too far from the car garage and it needs an upscale restaurant. Overall I was very happy!

This hotel made me feel welcome: They have a very new sleek design and a great location.

I am somewhat likely to return to the Planet Hollywood Resort and Casino.

The hotel has an excellent location on the Strip. It has very nice rooms with big bathrooms. It is attached to a large mall with shopping, live entertainment theaters and restaurants. I got a promotion that included free nights and a big discount.

This hotel made me feel important: It was an upscale setting. There was a premiere of a movie and I saw many movie stars.

I am somewhat likely to return to the Planet Hollywood Resort and Casino.

I enjoyed my stay at the Aladdin hotel. My room was beautiful. The hotel was under renovation at the time. My only problem was that the hotel was freezing so we spent most of our time in other hotel casinos and restaurants.

I am not likely to return to the Planet Hollywood Resort and Casino.

I enjoyed my stay at the Aladdin hotel and the service was good, the room was clean and the bed was comfortable. I was there on business and I did not get to enjoy a lot of the amenities, such as the pool or spa, but I am sure they were on par with the rest of the hotel.

I stayed there before, two years ago, and I love the location of the hotel on the Strip as it is close to pretty much everything. I enjoyed the shops and the restaurants in their shopping mall and I really enjoyed the new hotel restaurant Planet Dailies. The only criticism I had for the restaurant was they played music which was sometimes too loud or music I did not think was appropriate for all age groups during a meal. I found myself several times having to speaker louder to talk over it. It is not something I enjoy during a meal. I thought the room could have been cleaner in particular though the bathroom was a little dirty. It appeared the minimum was done and I found stains on the floor and the sink that should have been cleaned up. I did not say anything about it so I cannot complain too much about it. The staff was extremely friendly and knowledgeable. Overall I enjoyed my stay and I would definitely stay there again.

The hotel has a great location on the Strip. They have the best champagne brunch! Do not waste your time going anywhere else for meals. The restaurant and the buffet were amazing. The Aladdin hotel also had a great casino, it did not feel like you were in a basement like in other casinos. It had high ceilings and a great decor.

This hotel made me feel welcome: Even though they were undergoing renovations, the check in area was well organized and we were warmly greeted.
