We checked in only to receive a room that had no windows. NO windows at all. The room smelled stale and when we looked around to find where the smell was coming from we saw large stains on the wall and ceiling around the airconditioning unit. ...

I took my 10 year old child down on the train for the weekend. The hotel was in the perfect location. A half block from Jackson Square and close to everything we wanted to see. The room was plain but clean. This is not a luxury hotel so don't...

Excellent
We came to New Orleans not knowing what to expect after Katrina and were so pleasantly suprised! The Place D Armes made our stay so pleasant because it is close to everything. It was even included on our haunted hotel tour! I had heard that some...

It was a great location. I had a charming room with a balcony. I would definitely stay there again.
The hotel atmosphere was very relaxing. It had a beautiful and peaceful courtyard. The balcony overlooking the street made one feel like you lived there.
I am somewhat likely
to return to the Place D'Armes French Quarter.
I might recommend it to friends.

Nice hotel in a great location. Since this hotel is in the French Quarter it's going to be an older building, but everything was clean and neat. We went there in the middle of August and the A/C in the room worked perfectly. The staff seemed nice, but we didn't really interact with them much. I felt safe on the streets around the hotel and I'll be staying here the next time i go to New Orleans.

The hotel had an excellent location, it was a gorgeous establishment and the deluxe room we had was great. The air conditioning unit worked well and it was nice and cold. It had a nice view down one of the streets, so we could watch passers by, while having optimum privacy due to the plantation style shutters. It also had more TV channels than usual.
The staff, especially housekeeping, was very nice and polite.
I am very likely
to return to the Place D'Armes French Quarter.
I would definitely recommend it to friends.

We had a room with a balcony overlooking a private courtyard. The location is perfect, right off Jackson Square. The pool was great after a long hot day, although the water was a little cloudy. The courtyards were beautiful, the staff was friendly...

I lived in the French Quarter many years ago and this hotel was ideal for re-experiencing New Orleans. Location! Summer in N O is hot so any time we needed, it was easy to return to the hotel for 10 minutes air conditioning and 40 minutes in the...
