Location. The Pismo Lighthouse Suites is an oceanfront resort sitting atop the bluffs overlooking the ocean in Pismo Beach, Calif. Fishing at the Pismo Beach Pier, and downtown shops and restaurants are within one mile. This area offers 23 miles of beachfront with tide pools, old pirate coves and the only dunes in the area that allow all-terrain vehicles. Features. This resort features Cape Cod-style architecture, and is decorated in a nautical theme. Complimentary continental breakfasts are served each morning in the ocean-view galley. The Crow's Nest, featuring a kitchen and balcony, offers space for meetings, banquets, conferences and receptions for up to 46 guests, with classroom, theater, boardroom and reception seating arrangements. The resort features a fitness center and an oceanfront heated pool with a glass-enclosed spa tub. The family play deck offers ping-pong, badminton, a putting green and a life-size chess board. Laundry facilities are provided. Guestrooms. One- and two-bedroom suites include refrigerators, microwave ovens and coffeemakers, and a separate sitting area. All suites offer two bathrooms. Nintendo video-game consoles are available for a fee, and all suites feature cable television with premium channels and pay movies. The rooms are big, but the beds are terribly saggy and the walls are paper thin. We booked a suite with 2 queen beds, but the room had 1 king and 1 full. The office staff insisted that they only had 2 queens in our room. They refused to they...
