We were driving the entire Blue Ridge Parkway and stopped here for the night. Be warned, the hotel, restaurant, and shops only take Visa and Mastercard (no Discover or American Express).
The good: Great view, because it sits on top of a ridge and every room has a balcony overlooking the valley below. Large room. Large, nice bathroom. Ceiling fan over bed. Decent restaurant on the property. Small convenience store/souvenir shop if you need something. Very convenient location right on the Blue Ridge Parkway.
The bad: Bed was mediocre. No WiFi. Limited and fuzzy TV channels. No free breakfast, because there is a restaurant on the property.
Overall, a nice place to stay if you're traveling the Blue Ridge Parkway.
