We stumbled along the Pilot Knob Inn in our travels to the Mountains and got a little tired we saw a sign "a very small sign" and thought we would see if we could get lucky and it was a Tuesday night they had two cabins open and the lady was kind enough to give us a tour of the two cabins they had available and a suite we had all intentions of staying one night, but when we walked in cabin #1 we fell head over heels in love with it! We stayed Tues, Wed & Thurs and left on Friday morning because they had other guest arriving for the weekend. They brought us more wood and firestarters fixed us an amazing breakfast and catered to our every need. They went way over the top for us and treated us like royalty and they had their hands full with other guest, but you would have never known there was anybody else around we felt like #1. We cannot wait to go back the pricing was extremely reasonable and we plan to go back this fall and stay for atleast 5 nights. This will be a regular spot for my wife & I. Jim Norman
