As you pull up Harbor Magic Drive and pass the Power Plant entertainment complex and the National Aquarium, you'll realize just how fabulous the Pier 5 Hotel's waterfront location really is. Step inside the three-story atrium lobby and gaze in wonder as vaulted ceilings kiss gem-toned walls and plush velvet couches welcome the weary legs of urban explorers. The Pier 5 Hotel is an enthralling blend of comfortably hip designs, vibrant colors and some gorgeous harbor views. And with two of the city's best restaurants Ruth's Chris-Pier 5 and McCormick & Schmick's off the hotel Lobby, its no wonder the Pier 5 Hotel is considered a destination in itself.

Close to heart of the city and convention center. There was a $9 per day charge I was not expecting. Except for the daily charge ($9) for internet access and a newspaper I guess I liked the facility and would likely stay there again.

The hotel is very centrally located, and the staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was clean, and even the "city view" room was nice and quiet. The shuttle was great. My only complaint is that I didn't know about the "destination fee". ...
