This is a high quality hotel, modern in the interior. There has been a conscious effort to maintain the grand charm of the original building. Limited car parking is located to the back of the hotel at a charge. One of the best properties in Copenhagen. (08/07 MK) It is a 17th century renovated building. The hotel is located near the Nyhavn area, within walking distance of the Royal Palace and Royal theatre. A much sought after location in a fashionable part of Copenhagen.

35 year old female with a luxury budget, traveling for business
This is the worst hotel I have ever stayed at. Despite telling the night concierge three times my bag, which was lost by the airline, was being delivered tomorrow, the woman on the desk during the day sent it back to the airport. They also mysteriously checked me out for no reason. I came back to be handed my stuff in a plastic bag in front of a bunch of business travelers like a hobo. They were rude and unprofessional and unapologetic. There are plenty of great hotels in Copenhagen. This is not one of them.

Good
The Phoenix is just a minute walk to Nyhavn (the harbor) and all of the shops, resturants, etc. in the center of Copenhagen. The rooms are small, but the price is great for the location. Highly recommend it. I have stayed there at least 5 times...

Excellent
The staff at the Phoenix were extremely helpful. They were very accommodating and pleasant. For the price it is quite a gem. It is a very clean hotel and location, location and location. Wow. We did not eat at the restaurant so I can't comment but...
