Pensacola Beach Resort Hotel

What should have been a fabulous experience was marred by lack of service. Short staffing with inexperienced or just unhelpful employees, beach attendants who all but demanded tips before providing any service left us disappointed despite the spectacular views and beautifully appointed rooms. Resort implies some modicom of service and we were quite surprised to learn that our high room fee did not even come with a change of towels during our stay {unless we chose to pay an additional "nominal" fee}. We would not return.

The location is wonderful, right on the beach. There are two nice pools, so if one is full you can use the other. The rooms are nice and clean.

I liked the room and location. The price was a little high.

The hotel is very expensive, and it was not a resort. It was in prime location though, so that's probably the reason for the high price. But other than location, it's not really worth it.
