The room was smaller than expected, it lacked a dresser to store clothes, the TV was smaller than expected and located in a cabinet that made it difficult to view.

The maid service was really bad!

We really enjoyed the spot, the hotel amenities and the cleanliness, as well as the very friendly staff.

The only thing that we didn't appreciate were the very loud housekeeping staff in the hallways of our room every morning, very loud, would wake us up in the a.m. We often had to call for no toiletries and tissues, and towels. Besides that, everything was perfect.

I liked the beautiful building and the location. It was wonderful.

It has an excellent location. It has comfortable beds, is clean, and has a usable fitness area with great views. It was much better than expected in a Best Western hotel. We usually stay at Marriott, but this hotel was as good as Marriott and better than some.

Everything was just as we expected.

This hotel made me feel welcome: They were very accommodating when we arrived and we were late coming in. They made our stay very impressive.

We very much enjoyed our stay at Pelican Beach. Everything was fine. We just wish we could get Bear Claw ice cream locally.

Pelican Beach was new and quite lovely -- much more than I would have expected under the Best Western name.

This hotel made me feel inspired: The oceanfront view after dark was quite inspiring, majestic and lovely.

We have stayed there many times before they built the new resort. It is a great place to stay -- right on the beach and now even with a great restaurant.

Don't be fooled - if they tell you are in the Sun Tower, it is not the building they advertise. It is a fairly run-down building next to the building in the photos that does not have high speed internet. The manager didn't want to talk with me or make good on what they advertise. These is no mention of the building on the site. Plus, there is only valet parking at $12 which isn't disclosed either. We checked out the next morning rather than stay the four days booked.
