We stayed here in march 2007 and a pipe broke in one of the rooms we had in the middle of the night in the bathroom. The owner or manager came to our room and tried to blame it on us. We were asleep when it happened and the manager tried to blame it on us, kick us out, and did not give our deposit back when it was not our fault. He also cursed us out, was very inappropriate and rude.

It was old, but had pleasant accommodations. It was very convenient to walking in Key West. The staff was knowledgeable and courteous. The bed was a little soft.

This hotel made me feel secure: Key cards were available for room doors. There were limited access points to enter the building. The front door and desk were within easy sight of each other.
