Built in 1900 and originally known as the Peerless Rooms, The Peerless Hotel has been lovingly restored and is now included in the National Register of Historic Places and is featured in the Best Selling Book "1,000 Places To See Before You Die". The hotel is conveniently located on Fourth Street in Ashland's Historic Railroad and Gallery District, just three blocks to downtown and six blocks to The Oregon Shakespeare Festival. It's an easy walk to many fine restaurants, shops, boutiques and art galleries.
All six Guest Rooms and Suites are whimsically and elegantly decorated with hand-painted murals, fine art, and an eclectic mixture of antique furnishings gathered from New Orleans to Hawaii. Guests are pampered with Italian bed linens, AVEDA bath products, spa tubs, and a sumptuous complimentary breakfast. Enjoy the serene surroundings of our beautiful private gardens, as well as a staff that prides itself on personalized service.
Official Hotel Information
This place is magical! It is even listed in the book "1,000 Places To See Before You Die". I do agree with one of the other reviews, it is not a place to bring kids; nor would kids want to be brought here (to "fancy" & no pool),...
Just a heads up. The Peerless won't accept anyone with a child under 14 years of age. There are some B&Bs in Ashland that will take in parents with children over 5 yrs old.
