I was fooled by the AAA three diamond label and the fact that it is a Bluegreen "resort" property. I would call it a last resort. It was dirty--candy and junk under the beds, makeup on the counter tops that wasn't wiped up from the previous guest. They switched our room, but the second room had a white, powdery substance splashed on the bathroom door that was not cleaned up, and under the beds was just nasty, like a vacuum never went there. Their trick is to overdo with furniture polish to make it smell clean.
The walls were scuffed and covered with black marks--like the WWF had held a tag team there. A bucket of paint would go a long way in this joint.
The "deluxe continental breakfast" was in a basement room that had once been a conference room, but it was brown, dirty, and completely decrepit. There were so many flies, I lost my appetite.
This place was probably nice back in the 1970's, but it is not now. Bluegreen should either renovate the joint, or tear it down altogether. I couldn't find a room anywhere else, and we had driven a long way, so we were stuck, but I hope that doesn't happen to anyone else. It was a miserable stay.
