Alot of little issues such as not enough towels, toilet paper, kleenex, room door sticking, outlets not secure or working properly, elevator painfully slow and overall the room was not as clean as it should be. For the amount of money you are spending - consider looking elsewhere. After our stay at Patricia Grand we went to another hotel (same amount of $$) and it was a huge difference in quality and cleanliness with the same oceanfront view. Also the hotel charges for parking and internet under a daily access fee when advertises it for free.
The room was outdated and rundown, things broken. Not answering phone at front desk, not enough towels and hard to find more. Bell man hard to find for valet parking. Hot tubs dirty at times. Beach front property nice, pool area nice.
The Patricia Grand is in desparate need of a major remodel. The building and its employees. Our room was clean. Supplies for a room that held 8 guests were minimal. 4 towels a day, 3 sugar packets, 2 creamers. I think hotel staff should do the dishes. I was on vacation. I would not stay there again.
From the minute we walked into the lobby we could see that the facility was not well cared for. It was worn and worst of all appeared to be dirty. It was so bad that we actually cancelled our reservation before we checked in. I will say that at least the staff was accommodating in assisting us to cancel our reservation

I was very disappointed with the Patricia Grand. It should be closed down. The web site is deceiving and looks nothing like it. The room was dirty, dust everywhere, hair in the bathroom, dirty in the corners, furniture is falling apart and the rug is torn and gross! You could not pay me to stay here again!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I am not likely
to return to the Patricia Grand Resort Hotel.
I would not recommend it to friends.

the pictures are not what you would think. The kitchen is very outdated and not clean. the bathroom was not clean, nor was the rest of the place. although the bartender made very good drinks, the beds were like sleeping on the floor, rock hard.

We checked in on 7-19-09 for a 5 night stay for a baseball tournament. I had read many negative reports on Trip Advisor, but we were obligated to stay in a tournament selected hotel, and this one fit the bill. The exterior is nice, and landscaping was pleasant. Parking was horrible, and one of the mom's hit the narrow entry into the 2nd level of the parking garage. The fold down beds had a tremendous amount of filth behind the beds, and the bedding and pillows were in poor condition. by 9 that night, 3 of the 4 families had decided to move because of the conditions. The night manager did not offer a discounted rate or anything except reimbursement of the next 4 nights. FOrtunately, we found another property owned by Oceana Resorts, and they matched the rate. That was a super gesture, and one that will be remembered next time we go to Myrtle Beach. Some of the rooms have been renovated, some not, so this experience may not be totally accurate.
This hotel is definetly not worth the money. It was old and rundown. Not clean - the floors were not clean, the bathrooms were not very clean. The appliances were old and did not work very well. The air condition did not work well, the hot water in one of the rooms was not working, the sheets on one of the beds was not cleaned because there was still sand in the bed. It was obvious they did not vacuum very well. There were several other issues in some of the other rooms. There was a group of 6 different families that went on the trip for a baseball tournament, and none were satisfied with their rooms. Some of us didn't even get the type of room we paid for. We all ended up staying the one night and checking out the next day and stayed down the street at a much nicer hotel for the same rate. Needless to say I would NOT RECOMMEND this hotel EVER. It is hard to believe they can charge that high of a rate for the accomodations they have.
This hotel was very dirty and old! The rooms looked like something that I would have stayed in for senior beach week for about $35 a night. The parking deck was not suitable for SUVs and several families got their SUVs stuck. We only stayed one night and then found somewhere else to stay. My room had mosquitoes on the walls!! I would not recommend staying at The Patricia Grand!!
I HAVE TO WRITE THIS REVIEW IN CAPS TO STRESS THAT THIS RESORT HOTEL SHOULD NOT BE STAYED IN. THIS WAS THE WORST HOTEL THAT I HAVE EVER STAYED IN, IN MY LIFE,AND I WOULDN'T TAKE A FREE ROOM IN THIS DUMP. THE PICTURES ONLINE ARE A TOTAL LIE. THE RO
