Come and enjoy your home away from home at the Parkwood Inn. The hotel rooms are similar to a studio style apartment, with about 450sq feet per room, a fully equipped kitchen, walk-in closets, private balconies, and all the comforts of home. The Parkwood Inn is also one of the only hotels in Anchorage that has a beautiful landscaped property where our guests can enjoy the outside as well as the inside. With Park benches located on the lawns for your enjoyment, as well as Picnic tables and Barbeque pits for a little outdoor cooking experience. Why not enjoy the beauty and nature of Alaska while still inside the city.

The hotel had a nice staff and it was perfectly suited for a business trip. I had a large room with a kitchen.
The staff was very pleasant and accommodating. The room was larger than expected with a nice desk, sitting area and a full kitchen and because I was there for work that made for a convenient place to stay while working. It also had wi-fi service for internet access in the room.
I am very likely
to return to the Parkwood Inn Extended Stay.
I might recommend it to friends.

We booked this "inn" because it was relatively inexpensive, but we know that can be a gamble. I was afraid to sit on the couch and take off my shoes. We had a kitchenette with an oven, one of our main factors in choosing PWI, but no cooking utensil, ...

I felt as if i was at home. the front desk staff was very helpful and knowledgable about where I could go and see Alaska. The management was extremely helpful in the way he instructed his personnel. It seemed to be a nice atmosphere at the front desk. I was also told that some rooms had a new paint smell to them. I had one of those rooms. It was nice to see that they cared enough to let me know about the paint and the construction that was going on. I asked to be placed in another room and the manager stepped in and proptly helped with moving me and even came to the room to help with my luggage. I have read some of the reviews from past years and did not know if it would be the same but I feel that they are all wrong. not everything is done but summer is not here and I had a wonderful stay at the parkwood. I would definitely reccommend my friends and family to this hotel if it stays under the current management
