This was one of the worst hotel experiences ever! We drove from Illinois to meet my son when he came home from Iraq. ( I think he had better accomodations in Iraq.) First, the key wouldn't work. Then when we got inside, the room was gross. ...

I stayed in a room in July. First you don't get the $29.99 special that is posted, the air conditioner was blowing hot air, the beds smelled of smoke, and the desk clerk didn't know what she was doing and wearing a shirt I wouldn't let my daughter wear. I was charged 40 plus a $5 key deposit for a room with 2 beds. I only received 1 bath towel, 1 hand towel, and 1 wash cloth and 1 pillow was on each bed. There were only 8 channels on the tv and no remote control. You would be better off staying in the Midtown Inn across the street.

Upon arrival I couldn't get the $29.99 rate due to rooms not available and was charged $42 for a room that later I found had no cold air, only 8 channels on the tv, no remote, 1 bath towel, 1 pillow on the bed. The desk clerk was rude and would not give me a refund when I said I could not sleep in a room with no air. The sweat poured off me. She said the manager specifies no refunds. She did offer another room but it was in the same condition. The refrigerator had mold growing in it and the microwave didn't work.
It looked better on the internet.
