I have lived in the area all life and would never have expected this kind of treatment from a reputable business. I will not recommend this motel to any of my friends ever again.
I arrived in Trenton January 30/08 booked a room for two evenings at the Park Motel. I only booked two nights because I thought my apartment in Belleville would be ready for me to move in on Friday.
Earlier on Thurs. Jan. 31, I was informed that the apartment would not be ready until Sat. Feb. 2. So I informed the manager of the motel right away and asked if I could stay one more night, he said "there was no problem and that I could pay him the next day". I then got a call at 9:20pm, Thurs. even-
ing from the front desk, stating that I would not be able to stay another night because of a group of workers were coming into Trenton that evening. He stated that he would need my room and that he was sorry, that was it.
How considerate, when he was fully aware that there was a bad snow storm due to hit the area on Friday. Well, I awoke Fri. morning to a very bad snow storm. I didn't have a car, so I had to get my daughter to come in from Belleville before work to pick me up and relocate me. Needless to say this was a huge inconvenience for me and my daughter.
I truly hope that this does not happen to anyone ever again. The owner of this establishment should be very ashamed for what he had done to me. My advice is to just bypass this motel as there are plenty of other places to stay in this area which are very reasonable and offer better facilities.
