Park Inn Winter Park

We asked to be moved after finding a palmetto bug and a cockroach in our room. There was a hole in the bathroom wall. It was dirty and smelled mildewy. The second room was no better. We stayed one night with the lights on and then took a cab to the lovely Best Western down the road. Stay there. This place is for sale and should not be allowed to rent rooms as the current owners have obviously given up.

We used to use this hotel when visiting Winter Park when it was a Fairfield Inn. At that time it was very nice and we enjoyed our stays. It was a very good value for the cost. Now, as a Park Inn, the hotel appears quite shabby with not nearly as good a breakfast as when it was a Fairfield Inn. It has an unprofessional staff and is rather dreary. The clientele is not as wholesome as before. We had no specific problems, but it was definitely not as nice as it was as a Fairfield Inn.
