Crystalsk8s icon Terrible Hotel and No Air Conditioning
Posted Jun 19, 08 by Crystalsk8s, 1 reviews
46 year old with a moderate budget, traveling for business

This is the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. No air conditioning during a heat wave. Rooms had a fan unit but you could not set the temp and it never blew out cool air. Rooms were dirty and moldy smelling. Mold on ceilings and mirrors. Dirty carpet. One room the bed sheets were not clean. We switched rooms 5 times. One room, the toilet leaked all over the bathroom floor. All hallways smelled of smoke and were very hot. No cold water in vending machines, staff told us to buy water in the gift shop, but the gift shop was out of water too.Saw numerous guest bringing fans up to their rooms. Was told by the staff if we wanted a fan we had to go buy one, just like the other guest. Internet never worked the 5 days we were there. Staff was very rude.Had to ask maid several times for towels, ice bucket liner, glasses, etc...Tried to call every number to get towels, and they never answered the phone.Had to make numerous trips downstairs for things the maid never brought. When I asked why they never answered the phone the manager said they had so many complaints to deal with that they didn't have time to take phone calls.Staff was extremely rude.Slept on cushions on the floor for 4 night because the mattress on the pull out bed in suite was so thin you could feel the metal coils through it, but at least that suite didn't smell of mildew. Tried to change hotels but every thing was book for the 5 days we needed a room. Horrible hotel. Stay at your own risk and call 311 to complain. I think it's a health hazard to not have air conditioning.
