Reservation for single king 6 weeks prior to date of stay. Same story many other had. Only queens available, but was immediately offered the room I was promised for an additional $50.00 a night. So much for a verbal agreement.
The gambling: I gambled over at the MGM due to the horrible odds all Harrah casino's now offer on blackjack. Harrah casino's 6to5 on blackjacks not 3to2 like the MGM and many other casino's. Yes many casinos have changes their odds, but they will not get my business. This includes Paris, Rio, Bally's, etc..
The food in the Paris is not up to the price tag on the menu. Too many other places that are willing to work for the business.
The room was nice, and the hotel is clean. Other than that, I'm far from impressed.

When we made Reservation, we were promised a king size Bed. Upon arrival , we were told they only had 2 queen size beds, that we will have to wait 2 hours before the room is ready. But, if we would pay an extra fee, we could get a king size with a view right away.
When we got in to the Room , it was not what we expected! Very poor décor , furniture ,
drapes , etc does need attention.! Not very clean!
Oh! “What a View”! One window on the side of the Room was a tall bldg. , and the other side you would have to stretch your neck to see Half of the Eiffel Tour. We ask to change Room, and they did do that , but that Room was not very much better.
There was no drinking water in the room, no coffee machine.
I stayed at Paris 2-3 yrs. ago it was great! It was beautifully decorated and maintained.
I am sorry to say that it no longer is deserving of a 4 diamonds rating. The room looked old an It seems the hotel has gone downhill .

Rod & I went to Las Vegas to get married. We couldn't have picked nicer accommodations. When we walked into the room at 2 a.m. our time, I started taking pictures because it was so beautiful. I don't know how we managed to pick the best place ...

We have been to Las Vegas many times. But have never stayed at Paris.
We received a comp from Total Rewards for 3 comped nights at many Harrah's properties, plus a $50 credit voucher, and entry into a Video Poker tourney at Flamingo.
After reviewing this offer we chose Paris because it offered a premier room which was better than all the other room choices. I then contacted my host at Harrah's , (Bob Cohen at IP..one of the very best) and he was able to get me the 4th night comped, as well.
Since we were arriving very late on a Saturday, I called twice to make sure that there would be no problem holding the room. I was told that late arrivals were common. and there should be no issues.
After arriving at midnight (3AM) our time we were told that there were no Premium rooms left, even after two calls to try to prevent this. We were so tired we took the standard room and looked to fix the problem in the morning.
We discovered that we were probably in the worst room in the building. We had the worst bed, and the view was of a concrete wall four feet from the window.
The next day we did get this fixed, (after an hour on the phone with a manager.) and did get a premier room with a beautiful view of the Eiffel tower and Bellagio Fountains.
The rest of the trip was good, and had a great time until checkout time.
When that came, first problem was that when we changed rooms ( to the one that our reservation called for) the comps fell off and we saw that we had been charged for a comped room. Once that was fixed, (which took a while. after getting the manager involved) we were informed that the credit card we used at check-in and they placed a $400 hold on , was inadequate to pay $230 worth of room charges. Well back comes the manager , explaining that since the hold was placed on the card on check-in, and the room got changed. (to what was reserved in the first place!!) the card could not be charged until the hold came off, and that I would have to use another form of payment.
I , not so politely, told him that this was not my problem, and that if he had a hold on the card for more than what I owed , why were we even discussing this?
After refusing to use another card I informed them that I was leaving, and that I would be watching my credit card statement to make sure the charges were right or there would be a dispute placed on any charge I disagreed with.
Las Vegas is still our vacation of choice, but Paris will never again be among our Hotel choices.
