Now, this was a really, really suspicious hotel. Firstly, the taxi driver didn't know where the hotel was. Secondly, the apparent free shuttle from the airport to the hotel didn't exist. We got really suspicious when we heard all that.
Upon reaching the hotel, our suspicions were reaffirmed. It was some really quiet building, with only one room having the lights on. It's almost empty. And we couldn't find the receptionist's office at first! When we finally found it and checked in, we realized it's a very new hotel, and only half the rooms are built and furnished.
The rooms were pretty decent. The furniture is mostly new and the bathroom was clean. But it was really the bare minimum we received. It was just a bed and bath. But that's really all we needed. And two Queen size beds for 5 people, it was pretty decent for the money we were paying.
But then again, with all the packaged promotions going on in the other hotels on the Strip, you might as well stay somewhere nearer a casino.
