I took my fiancée to this hotel first because it was in Bellevue and second because, honestly, it was the cheapest.
While reading the reviews others had left, I was a little iffy on following through with our weekend, but told myself it was the cheapest hotel and I think it would be worth it.
I got there ahead of time to check in and decorate the room, and to tell you the truth the outside of the hotel certainly does no good for their rep. It didn't look like a hotel at all, but a motel of the side of the highway.
But when I went inside the lobby to check-in, I was very surprised to find a totally different setting. The inside was nice and elegant and the staff was nice. Once I got my key to my room, I was shocked again to see a beautiful chandelier as we were walking in. Our room was facing the garden, and it was beautiful. You couldn't hear the freeway traffic at all, but simply heard a beautiful waterfall (we kept our door open to hear it). The bed (ours was a King) was huge, not the most comfortable but the linens were warm. The room itself was basic and comforting. They included two complimentary robes and soaps of course.
Our only problem was the door, it seemed it was crusted over and the deadbolt wouldn't lock. Also we had a problem (only once) with one of our keys not working. Also, the "free" breakfast turned out to be a card of $10 value then again everything in their restaurant was under $10. You only had to cover maybe a tip and sales tax. It was within walking distance to Bellevue Square, and that is what we did, we walked. I would definitely come back to this hotel again.
