Bad for business travelers

34 year old female with a moderate budget, traveling for business
I booked a room for myself through a business travel agent, and booked a room for my parents through American express travel. On all of the travel websites I browsed, none of the room descriptions included the word 'smoking'. However, when we arrived, smoking rooms were reserved for us. Non smoking rooms were not available (for us anyway). To make things more miserable, the cancellation policy was 24 hours in advance. They would not refund our money. Terrible customer service. Management and staff will look you in the eyes and say 'no' to every request, no matter how reasonable.
Business travelers do not stay here. Stay at one of the many decent hotels in Peoria. Non-smoking gamblers, stay at the Hampton Inn, it is in the same parking lot and walking distance to the casino. Smokers, this is your hotel (unless you want a reasonable refund policy).

They upgraded me to a mini suite. The service was excellent as usual. This is a great place to stay.
