The main redeeming quality of this hotel was the view of the ocean from the balcony... though you do look directly at the parking lot first then over several rooftops and then you can see the ocean. Their website states that it was built in 1959 and ...

Well, this was the place I arrived at to stay until I found an apartment. The front lobby is the nicest part of the place. I figured since I needed a place to stay for a few weeks this place would suffice. It is very dirty, old and dingy. The only...
58 year old male with a luxury budget, traveling for business
It was old and not well maintained. It had old, decrepit furniture and minimal TV hookup. The staff smoked in the supposedly non smoking rooms and areas. There was a good, hot shower in the bathroom. They had a terrible motel restaurant, with zero service. I should have eaten elsewhere. I should have stayed elsewhere.
I am not likely
to return to the Palos Verdes Inn.
I would not recommend it to friends.
We were mis-quoted the price for two nights, by over $200. The staff was rude on the phone, and once we got here, we found the rooms lacked many of the room anemities it claimed to have. We were disapointed with having to stay here, as well as...

I stayed here for the location; I wanted to be close to Riviera Village and the ocean with my family. I knew it would be modest, but I just couldn't warm up to the place. Yes, it does have an odor (especially in the hallways), and it feels like...

The elevators were broken, the rooms smelled, missing door knobs on the stairway door. The registration person was not friendly. Other employees were very nice and polite when we requested items for the rooms.
