The Palms Casino Resort offers its guests some of the city's most spectacular views of the Las Vegas Strip, unique rooms, memorable nightlife venues and a bevy of dining options. *** (And see the other Orbitz listing for the Palms, for a once-in-a-lifetime experience!! Its open-air deck offers amazing 180-degree views of the Vegas Strip. Fifty-five stories below, the 1,500-seat, state-of-the-art nightclub and showroom venue Rain Las Vegas has a line of fun-loving partygoers every weekend. * The resort's dining options are equally extraordinary, from Alize, where diners can enjoy floor-to-ceiling views as well as gourmet meals, to Little Buddha, with its crimson, gold and celadon decorations and giant Buddha statue. * If you're looking to relax, the Palms features a 20,000-square-foot spa boasting numerous services. Outside, the pool provides a welcome reprieve from the Vegas heat with multiple pools, including two designed just for shallow lounging. * If indoor fun is more your style, check out the 14-theater Brendan Theatres complex or stop by Hart & Huntington Tattoo Company, the only tattoo parlor in a Vegas hotel. * Finally, the Palms is also constructing the new 40-story Fantasy Tower. Many standard guest rooms are already open, as well as a series of fantasy suites. From the mammoth and lush Celebrity Suite to the ultra-hip g Suite, the Palm's Fantasy Suites turn a regular vacation into one fit for a Vegas high-roller. Other luxury options include the hip hop-laden Crib Suite, the bachelorette party-friendly Hot Pink Suite and the Erotic Suite. * The new tower also houses a state-of-the-art recording studio and a floor of meeting space. The masterpiece of the Fantasy Tower will be the six Sky Villas, which will each offer an outdoor pool overlooking The Strip. Other plans for the new tower include a Playboy Club with its own casino, a concert venue, a new restaurant and a new nightclub called Moon, which will have a retractable roof. When completed, the Fantasy Tower will definitely live up to its name, and, like the rest of the Palms, make you feel like a celebrity.

I've been seeing a lot of negative comments on here but I've stayed at the Palms twice and had a very good experience. We love the fact that it is right where Rain and Moon are so we didn't have to leave the hotel to go to some great clubs. The rooms were nice, no problems with check in or housekeeping and overall it was a good experience!

- we booked a non smoking room and got a smoking room. when I called reception to see if they made a mistake, the rep stated that there were no more non smk rms left. Any hotel would have asked for customer permission first (before allocating if that was ok in the event all non smk rms were filled) apparently not the palms. We weren’t offered a credit or even an apology - I was told everything was sold out - period!
- The shower head was broken in our bathroom spraying water all over the place.
- The shower lever was installed incorrectly forcing us to play a guess game with the position of the lever before we got any hot water.
- Breakfast was horribly overpriced.
- No free internet in this day and age.
- TV, fridge and other fixtures are very outdated and in some cases damaged.
For a hotel that appears glamorous on TV it is outdated, trashy and not very convenient. I would tell everyone I know NOT to stay here.
I am not likely
to return to the Palms Casino Resort.
I would not recommend it to friends.

From the sexy shadow dancer projection wall to the steamy metal Show Shower with a stripper pole and fogged windows, anything goes in this incredible Palms Hotel suite. But it’s the incredible 8-foot round rotating bed (with mirrored ceiling, of course) that really makes you feel like you’re in your very own high budget porn. The Palms charges a $1 per day phone fee. Oh, and a $4,000 per night room charge.

First of all, before I came to Palms, I saw peoples advice and opinions. Ive been in hotel business before, so know a little more than the common out of towner coming to vegas. Palms is a family owned, "want it to be intimiate and small" environment with a big appetite. This is a party hotel people. Not for the under 21. This is a hotel with great clubs, lots of different people and cliques, and drinking and doing it up vegas style. The pool doesnt copy Hard Rock, Hard rock copied it. (see dates of renovation) Also, the clubs are owned by another company, so their security and club people are not Palms. They rent the space, so make sure u complain about the right people. I loved Nove, Nine Steakhouse, (but be aware, Nine is a hip loud steakhouse,, dont expect quiet) In fact, if you stay on a weekend, dont expect quiet anywhere. This is where celebs walk around freely, (as I saw The cure singer sitting in the high roller lounge having a drink casually) and people come out to party and mingle and yes,, unfortunately get a bit outta hand. Not a kid environment at all. In fact, you ask me, you shouldnt bring your kids to ANY vegas hotel. Ask any hotel employee, this isnt where theyd bring THEIR kids. ( i did ask). If you are expecting perfection, no hotel will give it. If you are expecting fun, this is where its at.. I am going back, and not listening to the bad comments. Dealing with hotel business myself, i saw it everyday, people on vacation and the moment they walk in,, they are rude,, anxious, needy, and frustrated. So its hard to please them. And id think,, geez, youre on vacation,, and IM WORKING, be nice!!! Have fun....Palms has a dollar a day resort fee. I heard people complain, but the other hotels charge 20-25 dollars,, and when i booked in california,, it was 25!! I didnt even get free internet included! So fees are small if you ask me.. Give it a chance,, and have fun! I do each time...
I tried to get into the Palms just after midnight, expecting no problems at all, although I am only 18. I was there to say hi to a friend, an Assistant hotel manager with whom I've become acquainted with over several visits and stays in both the ...

Great experience for a variety of reasons..can't really see why this would get a negative review (unless they went at a different time as me and it has changed), but basically here's why it was so great.
- Location: The Palms is connected to some awesome clubs including Rain and Playboy Club (the two we went to). Playboy Club was one of the greatest times I've ever had..Rain was good too, not as great, but a lot of fun nonetheless.
- Food: I had a steak at n9ne and it was top in my top 5 greatest steaks of all time..probably would give it #2 behind some random place I went to in Puerto Rico. Nove Italiano was very good as well..can't say as good as n9ne, but was extremely good.
- Room: I got the basic package and the room was still surprisingly extremely nice and clean. I was very impressed.
- Crowd: I'm 26 years old so I'm looking for a crowd between mid-20s and 30s and everyone seemed to be between 21-35.
I know that it's easy to have a good time in Vegas so maybe I'm just easy to please, but in all honesty one of the better hotel experiences I've ever had.
I am very likely
to return to the Palms Casino Resort.
I would definitely recommend it to friends.

99% of my experience with the Palms is extremely positive. I got a basic package there that ran me under $200 and the room I got was GORGEOUS. I heard it was nice, but couldn't get over how nice the room was. Palms is connected with some great ...

Rooms are small, hotel is not clean and the overall service is terrible! Pool is nice but they try to hard to copy the Hard Rock Hotel and they CAN'T!! Reserved my room 6 months in advance and made a reservation for a cabana by the pool about 3 months prior to going....when we showed up our room was switched and our cabana was given to a higher roller than us!! Stay away!!
Overall very good experience and value.

Overall very good experience and value. The location is great if you do not want to deal with the traffic and tourists of the strip. The rooms are a good value. You will get down comforters, pillows and comfortable bed. The rooms nor casino will ...
