Outside, the pool provides a welcome reprieve from the Vegas heat with multiple pools, including two designed just for shallow lounging. * If indoor fun is more your style, check out the 14-theater Brendan Theatres complex or stop by Hart & Huntington Tattoo Company, the only tattoo parlor in a Vegas hotel. * Finally, the Palms is also constructing the new 40-story Fantasy Tower. From the mammoth and lush Celebrity Suite to the ultra-hip g Suite, the Palm's Fantasy Suites turn a regular vacation into one fit for a Vegas high-roller. Other luxury options include the hip hop-laden Crib Suite, the bachelorette party-friendly Hot Pink Suite and the Erotic Suite. * The new tower also houses a state-of-the-art recording studio and a floor of meeting space. The masterpiece of the Fantasy Tower will be the six Sky Villas, which will each offer an outdoor pool overlooking The Strip. Other plans for the new tower include a Playboy Club with its own casino, a concert venue, a new restaurant and a new nightclub called Moon, which will have a retractable roof. When completed, the Fantasy Tower will definitely live up to its name, and, like the rest of the Palms, make you feel like a celebrity.

I was very disappointed to find out that check in is at 4pm and the swimming pool is closed at 5pm. The rooms are mediocre, unless you are staying in a master suit. We went down to N9ne for drinks and appetizers, the service and the drinks were good, but the decor and the food was plane. The next morning the security guard (ex-convict looking guy) by the pool was just rude. Not at all the kind of treatment you are looking for when you're trying to unwind. While trying to have breakfast, the alarm in the building went off for about 15 minutes and it was just annoying. If you are just going to the clubs, it is probably okay. Otherwise, skip a stay or dinner here.

Would have been much better if the walls were not paper thin and we did not have to listen to people in the next room having sex all night long. Probably not the best thing for two kids to have to listen to. We could also clearly hear the conversations of the people in the rooms next to us. The T.V. also did not work.
I am somewhat likely
to return to the Palms Casino Resort.
I might recommend it to friends.

I stayed at the Palms because I was attending a concert at the Pearl. The concert venue is one of the best in Vegas & seeing Depeche Mode at such an intimate venue was the show of a lifetime. I arrived at midnight & checked into my room. My 7 year old son was with us & he has a tendency to roll off the bed so I pushed it against the wall. When I did, I discovered a used condom & wrapper. I only pushed the bead a foot. All housekeeping had to do has look under the dust ruffle. They sent a bellman up with a key to an adjacent room. The room was smaller, had no luggage rack, blow dryer or trash can. When I pushed the bed over in this room, there were dirty socks under the dust ruffle. The whole situation was disgusting. Getting to our new room or any room for that matter was also a hassle. The night club entries are by the elevators and we had to wade through throngs of drunk people. The 24 hour diner had a decent selection & good well priced food. But decent food & concert venue are not reason enough to stay at the Palms. Better to stay down the block at the Rio & walk!

Positive: easy to park, no strip traffic, fantastic croissants at the hotel's coffee shop, cheap buffet (esp. for breakfast), comfortable room, super comfy beds (love 'em), great shampoo (no kidding), nice shower, and lights have dimmers.
Negative: $1/day additional charge for phone, regardless of whether or not you use it (I hate being nickled and dimed), expensive wireless (I use my own broadband card now to avoid), $30/day charge if you want a fridge in your room, annoying voice mail messages (with flashing light to drive you crazy) trying to sell you additional hotel services.

For the money this place is super nice. Try and stay in Fantasy tower rooms its better than the Palm Tower; newer and bigger rooms. Palms is great for night spots, you got 2 clubs that are hot, and a great rooftop bar. I wouldn't say this hotel gives you the full Vegas experience, but if you already have the town dialed and you're not looking for Venetian hotel type mega complex with top restaurants and gondola drivers, Palms is the spot. Another way, if your 21 to 45 and you want to party, stay here. Pool is awesome too. nuff said

Our stay was not good. At 7 am our nieghbors music was so loud and the construction of the hotel so bad, the music actually made our bed shake. Then at 8 am construction workers were in our hallway hammering!!! Will not come back...

I've been seeing a lot of negative comments on here but I've stayed at the Palms twice and had a very good experience. We love the fact that it is right where Rain and Moon are so we didn't have to leave the hotel to go to some great clubs. The room
