The Palmer House Hotel was closed in August 2007 for a major renovation and will re-open late 2009. With the exception of the Historic facade the entire hotel (including plumbing, electricity, furniture, fixtures, equipment and the Management Team) is 100% brand new.

This B&B practices discrimination! I was in discussions with Gail Palmer, the owner, about holding my commitment ceremony there and once she realized that we were two women she became hostile and told me that we would not be welcome at their facility. If you support equal rights you should NOT support this discriminating B&B with your business.
Wouldn't stay here ever again!

The Palmer House Hotel is very decieving from the photos. The pictures make it seem like a decent place to stay for an affordable price. The hotel does NOT have a recpetion desk, all matters must be handled at the front desk of the Tudor Hotel next...
