Okay
It seems to me the other reviewers are rather harsh in their appraisals of this pleasant, modestly priced B&B in a wonderful historical old home that is centrally located and good for walking and exploring the town and beach areas. Granted the...

Excellent
My husband and I stayed at the Inn in Feb 2007 and what a wonderful time we had. The hostess was great, the food was excellent, and we love Pacific Grove. We are going back in Nov for another stay at this beautiful Inn.
We last visited Pacific Grove Inn in Sept '99 and were very impressed with the rooms and our stay. This time, however, we were surprised to find this B&B has new owners and cut corners where they shouldn't.
33 year old male with a luxury budget, traveling for leisure
This was our first B&B stay, so we didn't know what to expect. We though it was pleasant. We chose it on a referral from a friend and because it's a historic Victorian landmark.
The place is quaint and cozy. It's close to Monterey Bay, so you can spend a day at the aquarium or on the beach, grab dinner there and retire to the inn.
However, we were a little disappointed with the size of our room, and didn't feel we had enough privacy, but maybe that's because we booked late I suppose. Breakfast was so-so.
