My wife and I stayed at the Pacific Beach Hotel in May and we really enoyed our stay. The room had a beautiful view of Waikiki Beach and although dated, it was clean and served it's purpose. The staff was friendly and helpful going out of their way to please. All of the basics are provided such as soap, shampoo, toothpaste, toothbrush, lotions, hairdryer, in room safe, small coffee pot, and cable television. Pool towels are also in your room which came in handy when going to the beach. Hotel internet rates are too high but you can sign up for Skywave Wi-Fi for just $25 dollars good for the entire week. The hotel resturant was great, but expensive! Breakfast for two came to $40.00 + tip! The hotel provides parking for an additional fee and valet parking is an option. Be warned that the parking spaces are very small so remember that when you rent a car! The location is excellent right in the heart of Waikiki Beach. If we evey decide to go back to Waikiki Beach I would stay here again.

The Pacific Beach Hotel in Waikiki has a "Wii Are Family Package," which includes unlimited use of a Nintendo Wii in the room, free parking, in-room microwave and complimentary popcorn for $149 a night (offer good through Dec. 19).
I recommend the Oceanarium Restaurant

I recommend the Oceanarium Restaurant located at Pacific Beach Hotel in Waikiki. I really enjoyed the great atmosphere and the dinner buffet was delicious. The servers were very attentive.Great dining experience for the whole family.

Pacific Beach Hotel was an experiment we will not repeat. Frequent visitors to Honolulu as we must pass through here on our way to almost anywhere else, we usually stay at the Hilton Hawaiian Garden or Ala Moana, but decided to try Pac Beach...

It was nice, but the elevator service took a long time. I loved the view from my room. The pool was too cold to swim in and there were no snack machines on my floor.
I am not likely
to return to the Pacific Beach Hotel.
I might recommend it to friends.
