We recently spent two delightful nights at the Lodge and I cannot say enough nice things about this place. Lodges in parks are sometimes either very overpriced, or rather austere. Well, this is a pleasant surprise. The rooms are very pleasant with nice queen sized beds, comfy chairs and cable TV. The bathroom is quite large, as is the tub. The large windows give a nice, peaceful view of woods and open onto a patio with relaxing chairs. Each unit has a mini refrigerator and a coffee maker, plus an iron and ironing board. The restaurant is a great value with tasty food and friendly service. And staying there gets you discounts on park activities! The mattresses were a bit on the hard side, and service could get bogged down in the restaurant if it was really busy, but these were minor. Overall, an exceptional value and a top rated State Park!
