Outrigger Waikiki on the Beach Hotel

The best location in Waikiki, central to everything, but you've got to have a sea view room (it's worth paying extra for the view). Restaurants and bar overlook the beach and it has a great party atmosphere - live bands and boogie as the sun sets. Only (tiny) problem was drinks/food service around the pool was a little slow. but overall staff were exceptionally helpful & friendly. Room was great and Lisa and Billy on in house TV station had some good tourist tips.

Room was very large, had a mini-fridge, which I love, good TV lineup and a wonderful view of sunrise. There are a couple great restaurants in the hotel, but Dukes is the most awesome spot for food, drinks, and best of all, atmosphere. The hotel (and Dukes) is literally on the beach. 20 feet and you are in the Pacific. Also several shops in the hotel. My wife loved the Coach store especially. If you are a shop-a-holic, then you will fall off the wagon here and max all of your credit cards in this bustling metropolis. You can get a really cheap but tasty breakfast at some local mom and pop restaurants just a few blocks away. They offer great deals like two pancakes, egg and juice for 3.99 or similar. However, I know that I'll want some meat, more eggs, and more OJ or pineapple juice, so it comes out to be about the price of a normal IHOP or Denny's. When it comes down to it, location, location, location, atmosphere and a really roomy and comfortable room make this my #1 choice in Hawaii!

We had a very enjoyable time. This was our second time in two years there and we are going back again next year.

The location of the hotel was perfect, the staff was excellent and our room was very nice. It was the best location on the beach and the hotel had the best restaurants and bars. If you like a fun and busy atmosphere this is the place. We loved it.

We enjoyed our stay. The bar and the restaurant were great. I had no problems with the valet parking.

I liked the great location. I disliked that the mountain side of hotel overlooked the heat and air conditioning unit of the building next door. It was very noisy and I could not leave the lanai door open at night.
