We have traveled to maui 2 times a year for many years and this was our first visit here. We really enjoyed our stay. The view and breeze were the best. Our 2 bedroom unit was clean and the beds appeared to be new and were comfortable. These places

Okay
This is the first time we stay at a condominium so I was very happy about it since I have 2 kids. It's very helpful to have a kitchen there. I agree with some previous reviews about the carpet; it was really dirty, which you can't tell until you see ...

Mediocre
As I write this review I am still in the unit. It is bad ,but was prepaid already so trying to make the best of what's left of our 2nd trip to Maui. First off the previous reviewers comments about the cleanliness of the carpeting and the AC are...

Condo was nice grounds and pool area. However unit 312 was horrible. The AC was not blowing right and would not go any lower than 75 degrees. The jalesoy(sp?) windows were open with no way to close them so what air you did have would escape.
Sweating in bed at night but reminded at every window to keep doors and windows closed while AC was on was not a pleasant stay. We stayed from 4/23 to 5/5. Actually writing review while still in unit which is a first for me. I would just like the traveling public to know that there are better places around. I'm just upset that I prepaid for it expecting a good experience.
Complained a few times but was told by the houseman chap they sent up that the owners know about it but yet won't do anything about the AC. Just very dated and worn down, dirty carpeting, funky layout and lack of air while sleeping was just absurd for the price you pay.

Horrible
The moment we pulled in to the parking lot we knew we were in trouble. The hotel is old and run down. The parking is open. The staff was warm and friendly but the room was not. The hotel appeared to be an old apartment or condominium complex. The...

We have stayed at the Royal Kahana hotel for the past three vacations. They have revamped the hotel and the rooms and they are great. The rates were very good, less than I paid the last time we were there. An advice for tourists would be to always get a car, if you can. You can see more and make sure when you park in the Kahana hotel parking lot that you park between the lines or they will cite you.
I am very likely
to return to the Outrigger Royal Kahana.
I would definitely recommend it to friends.

We were celebrating our anniversary and it could not have been better. We arrived late and were made to feel right at home. Our studio was wonderful, views, sunsets and nature were restful. A great trip.
