Location. The Outrigger Reef on the Beach stands along Waikiki Beach amid Honolulu, Hawaii's active dining, nightclub and entertainment district. Fort DeRussy Park is located adjacent to the hotel. Hotel Features. An expansive two-story lobby leads to two dining venues, the oceanfront Shore Bird restaurant, and the Ocean House seafood and steakhouse restaurant. Live music is performed nightly. Karaoke crooners compete at the Shore Bird restaurant. A Starbucks outlet serves specialty coffee drinks and pastries. Would never stay in this hotel if I ever return to Hawaii. Beautiful scenic areas along the coast. Oahu is very overrated, the people act as if you are intruding.

The location is great, you can walk to many places in a short time. I would recommend renting a car by the day. Then rent it again the next day. If not parking is about $15-20 a day. The walk to the car rental is about 10 min with good local...
