Located in melrose on la's trendy westside, the orbit is a budget hostel offering bunk-bed accommodation in 6-to-a room shared dormitories with private facilities. The Orbit is a great little place to stay - especially for your first few nights in LA. There's a great atmosphere in the place, and everyone is very friendly.

I would recommend this motel/hotel youth hostel for people travelling as backpackers. The rates are maybe good for people travelling alone and just want a place to sleep and don't mind sharing rooms/shower and whatever.The private room we stayed ...

This hotel is kind of retro, around the 60's. It offers complementary breakfast and has a nice cafe, patio and movie screening room. Rooms all have private baths and this is a plus! Great location on the most frenetic area of Melrose.
