Way overpriced, even at less than $80! Dark and noisy rooms. If you want a room facing away from the freeway, you have to pay a premium. Front desk staff was great. Manager was a tool.

So i thought i had a reservation at this hotel named the GOOD NITE INN, when instead I had it at Knights Inn which was in a very close proximity to this place. The staff led me on and told me that they had my reservation, they had to ask me what rate i was quoted and what type of room I wanted.
I caught on, but was tired and didnt care, but that all changed once I went into the room. I thought that the place was dirty, both interior and exterior, and i didnt not think it was worth the amount that i was paying. I quickly took a refund and got directions to the correct Knights Inn. By the way, I had to ask 411 because the staff at the hotel would not help me at all with directions

I booked this hotel through Orbitz.com and gave my credit card # over the phone I was told that I could pay cash when I arrived. When I got there I was told that I had to put a 20.00 deposit down since this was my first time. No problem, but they would not take my card because it was prepaid credit card. No problem, lucky for me my friend was with me and they took his American Express for the deposit. The next morning I went to check out at 11:30am I went to use my card to pay. They wouldn't take it. "why" I asked " It has a Visa logo and you have a sign in the window saying we except Visa and my card says excepted everywhere Visa is." They proceeded to tell me in a nasty manner that it was just a little rule they had since they had had some problems in the past. " Fine, I will go to an ATM. Where is the closet ATM?" They told me 2 miles down the street. " So I have to walk with my luggage 2 miles to the ATM because of a "rule" that you dont have posted?" I asked to speak to a manager. They told me that I would have to call their sister property since no manager was there. Fine, I called and spoke with a David. He told me "oh, well you will just have to deal with it." At this point I was more upset at how he was talking to me than walking 2 miles to an ATM. I asked him for his name and his supervisior. He told me " I am not giving you my name or my supervisors name!!" I asked him why and he said that if he wanted to give it to me he would have already and hung up on me. So I called back hoping that someone in the front would tell me, the girl at the front stated that he did not want me to have his name and that they did not have a corporate number and she did not have to talk to me per the manager. She hung up the phone. Fine! I will walk to the ATM. So I did and I came back to find that David had called the Nights Inn and told them to charge my friends credit card with the hotel room fees. I asked them , " what makes you think that you can charge someone else's credit card for my hotel room." They told me that I had never made hotel room reservations with them that the only person who had was my friend who didn't even know where I was staying until he dropped me off the night prior. Isn't it funny that somehow I have never stayed at the Nights Inn but I have a hotel reservation printed out 3 weeks ago stating that I had made reservations? I will NEVER EVER EVER stay here again. I mean I could deal with the roaches and stains on the walls that resembled blood and all for one night but being treated so badly was intolerable! And if you do stay there don't stay in room 139.

I was pleasantly surprised by my room and the friendly staff at the front desk. I wasn't able to check in until after 8 pm but that wasn't a problem at all. I did take advantage of upgrading my room to a pool side room with a patio (3 story building) which was worth the $15 extra dollars. The room was large, very clean and quiet despite being located so near I-10. I could sit on the patio and not even notice the freeway, and the room was even quieter. The breakfast was fine, about what you would expect for the price of the room. Overall, I was happy with my stay and will be staying here again.

Okay
The staff was very pleasant and professional. Housekeeping team was wonderful and always cheerful -- did a great job. The room needed scraping, serious painting and repair -- holes in walls where fixtures were moved, painting peeling, ceiling dirty. ...
