Maybe you should have called down to the front desk and followed up as she could have honestly forgotten. Two, $28.00 to park is cheap compared to what most hotels in metropolitian areas charge. What did you expect? You are visiting D.C., you are not in the suburbs were parking is usually free. Come to Chicago and you would have paid $48.00. Parking is expensive at hotels. They even charge $28.00 in Charlotte, NC. For you to have a "luxury budget" I find that statement hard to believe if you complain about $28.00 to park. Next time, take the metro.
