The view was spectacular from the observation deck on the roof top. It was the highest point in the French Quarter. Great view of the Mississippi River and St. Louis Cathedral. Wonderful to look...

We stayed here for a work-related event just a couple months before Katrina and came back for our honeymoon in the fall of 2007. While the atmoshphere of the city had changed, the staff at the Omni Royal hadn't---the doormen actually remembered us...

Really clean rooms. Great location. Not really worth the money, and the added cost of $31/night for parking is an exorbitant amount to pay in addition to room costs.
