The location was good, close to the social events. I liked the friendly staff, but the bathroom was dirty.

This hotel made me feel important: The bellhops were very helpful, friendly and they provided good service.

The room was very nice with an amazing view. The bed was extremely comfortable although the sheets were a bit too small. The only problem we experienced was that our TV picture jumped during a purchased movie. A maintenance person came very quickly and called the front desk to refund our movie. All the staff was very helpful. The parking fee was expensive.

The service was outstanding, from the bellmen to the front desk. The hotel was in the process of remodeling and modernizing rooms. My room had already been updated, and it was very comfortable and appealing. It had a Berber carpet with a great cushy padding underneath. There were also a great big mattress that was very comfortable, huge pillows and a great big comforter. The desk and countertops matched and the fixtures were a shiny chrome. All was very nice. The hotel ran a shuttle to the convention center and it was convenient to the highway and restaurants.

I liked the excellent service, friendly staff, and beautiful room. This was probably the nicest hotel I've ever stayed. The location was central to many convenient locations in the Richmond, Shockoe Slip area.
