I was there to visit my step-daughter who is going to BU. We had dinner in the more formal restaurant in the hotel and she said it was the best filet mignon she has ever had...and let me tell you she has had many! The hotel service was great! ...

the hotel is terrific. it's very old but very well maintained with all new furniture, carpets, drapes and tv's. don't hesitate as i've stayed in other boston hotels and this one is the best night's sleep for the money.

This hotel was by far the worst hotel I've ever stayed at. I've had better experiences at a motel 8. The staff is especially rude and incompetent. To top things off, the rooms are pretty much closets.
