Omni Jacksonville Hotel

My husband and I return to Jacksonville at least once a year (sometimes more). Decided to try Omni. Great location. Like the Riverwalk, always did. Valet service was great. Came back to the room after a long day, room not touched...not cleaned at all. Called down to desk; nothing done. Went to the bar and during conversation told the Bar Keep. She was WONDERFUL! She got on the staff and got the room cleaned. Then she gave us a free drink for our inconvenience. Next day, room cleaned, but no amenities left, including coffee. Called down to front desk. Nothing done. Went to the bar again, told our friend and she got on the staff once again and we got a bunch of coffee and amenities. Called for laundry pick up one night and was told someone would be up to get it in 5 minutes. They NEVER showed up. Took laundry down the next day (on Tuesday) and was told it would not be back until Friday (they guarantee 24 hours). We raised the roof and got it back the next night. The room was comfortable (when it was cleaned) but probably will not return as there are plenty of nice hotels in Jacksonville (just wish the Bar Keep worked at another hotel!).

It was a nice location, but not convenient. The best part was the valet. The people there were super nice and they helped with directions if needed.

The Omni hotel is always a class act. It is a dependable chain that offers comfortable room and efficient service.

It was a great location, right by restaurants, bars, shopping, and on the water.

The service was excellent. The staff was very helpful to myself and the camera crew. They knew the precise locations we needed to go to.
