Omni Hotel at Independence Park Hotel - Page 1

I booked a room at the Omni International at Philadelphia through Expedia.com. It was described as a "parlor room". Little did I realize that this means that the room at this "luxury" hotel is only a pull-out couch, not a bed with a real mattress!

I have never had a more unpleasant night in a hotel and the staff were completely unhelpful. When I complained, they stated that I should have known that a "parlor room" does not include a bed. Expedia.com were similarly unhelpful.

In addition, the room was awful, with every sound from the adjoining rooms completely audible.

Avoid it!

The bathroom needed repair. The raw joints in the drywall were not finished. I was surprised to find this in this level of hotel.

It is a lovely hotel with excellent service but it just became a non smoking hotel and I will never stay there again.

It’s in a perfect location. It has gorgeous rooms and a friendly staff. I felt very comfortable at the Omni and didn't want to leave! It is highly recommended!

The location was fine, and the staff was very friendly. Their service is wonderful for preferred customers. The free high-speed internet was a nice accommodation too.
